 The indicator pin is a purely optical pressure gauge (indicator) without a reading gauge. Basically, only three positions are indicated ('no clamping force' -- 'half clamping force' and 'full clamping force'). This type of pressure indicator is specifically suited for rotating parts because the indicator pin is integrated into the amtec Hydraclamp (sunken) and does not project beyond the surface. Subject to the size of the tension element (tool) and the space available, the indicator pin can be installed in an axial, a radial or a tangential position. |
